Economy / Wood processing
wood

The wood processing industry often includes more than people usually think. From an economic point of view a whole range of possibilities arises. For example, even wood remainders such as branches, leaves and carpentry waste, are used for the production of cellulose and wood tar, which in its turn can serve as a marketable raw material for the production of synthetic fibres, pharmaceutical products, paints/varnish and in lots of chemical products. Furthermore, wood can be processed for the construction industry, the furniture industry as well as the cardboard and paper industry. And we have not even mentioned the possibility to combine it with the cultivation of food!
