Interplanting
In every crop once in a while a plant dies. If this is a tree, a shrub or a bush in a row that is being irrigated, then there is a problem. The established plants need for instance 1 liter (0,25 gallon) per day and the newly interplanted plant needs 4 liter (1 gallon) per day to start with. With drip irrigation this difference cannot be managed. This means that interplanted plants often are watered individually by hand. Twice a week the employees carry extra water to the interplanted plant.
Through using the waterboxx this extra work can be avoided. The interplanted plant is planted with a biopolymer waterboxx and it starts doing its job. In the first period the box gives extra water to the plant and after a year when the box degrades, it functions as an extra nutrient to stimulate the growth.
Interplanting with the Groasis waterboxx therefore saves money, eases the workload and guarantees a healthy growth of the newly planted plants.
